Veritas Creative was founded on a simple belief: thoughtful communication builds trust.

I'm Jen Zerbe, a designer, communications strategist, and founder of Veritas Creative. For more than a decade, I've partnered with nonprofits, cultural institutions, businesses, and mission-driven organizations to transform complex ideas into clear, compelling communications that strengthen brands and build lasting relationships.

Whether developing a visual identity, designing an annual report, creating a website, or leading a long-term communications strategy, I believe the best work begins by listening. Every organization has a story worth telling, and my role is to help uncover it, organize it, and communicate it with clarity, consistency, and purpose.

My background spans nonprofit leadership, higher education, arts and culture, workforce development, and economic development. I've led branding initiatives, designed publications, developed communications systems, and managed creative projects from initial strategy through final production. That broad experience allows me to move comfortably between big-picture thinking and the details that bring great work to life.

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Design & Merchandising from West Virginia University and am completing a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications at WVU. I'm passionate about supporting the organizations, businesses, and communities that are shaping the future while partnering with clients whose work creates meaningful impact wherever they are.

I live in the mountains of West Virginia with my family, where life moves at a pace that reminds me to pay attention to the details. Whether I'm designing, painting, gardening, or spending time on the river, I'm drawn to work that is thoughtful, well-crafted, and built to last.
